Returns and Cancellation
At ReshaTara, each piece is handwoven in limited quantities, often one of a kind.
Given the delicate nature of pure handwoven textiles and the care involved in crafting them, we are able to offer returns or exchanges only in exceptional circumstances.
All products are quality checked and shipped in secure, tamper-proof packaging.
Returns & Exchanges
Returns or exchanges are accepted only in the following cases:
- A manufacturing defect in the product.
- An incorrect item dispatched by us.
Please note that slight colour variations between the website images and the actual product may occur due to lighting, photography angles, screen settings, and the natural characteristics of the fabric. Such variations do not qualify as defects and are not grounds for return.
Damaged or Tampered Packages
If your package appears tampered with, damaged, or unsealed at the time of delivery, please do not accept or open the parcel.
We request you to:
- Take photographs of the damaged or tampered packaging.
- Refuse delivery and return the parcel to the courier partner.
- Contact us immediately at hello@reshatara.com or call 9845807858 (during the working hours) or leave a WhatsApp message.
Acceptance of a visibly damaged or tampered package will be deemed as receipt in good condition.
Return Request Process
- Return requests must be emailed to hello@reshatara.com within 48 hours of receiving the shipment.
- Requests raised after 48 hours of delivery will not be eligible for return or exchange.
- Please include photographs of the product and packaging while raising the request.
Once we receive your request, our team will review the same and respond with approval or resolution within 7 working days.
If the return is approved, we will share instructions and the return shipping address. Products sent back without prior authorization will not be accepted.
Conditions for Return
To be eligible for a return or exchange, the item must:
- Be unused and unworn.
- Be in its original condition and packaging.
- Include tags, invoices, and proof of purchase.
The returned shipment should reach us within 7 days from the date of approval.
Refunds
Refunds are processed only after the returned product has been received and inspected by our team.
Customers may choose:
- Store credit for the full value, or
- Refund to the original payment method (subject to applicable conditions).
In case of refunds to the original payment method, return shipping charges and applicable stocking fees may be deducted.
Once approved, refunds will be initiated within 5–7 working days to the original payment method. However, the time taken for the amount to reflect in your account depends on your bank or payment provider.
Cancellations
You may cancel your order before it has been shipped. Should you cancel your order, you will receive a credit amount equivalent to the value of your order for any subsequent purchase on the website. If you wish to receive a refund instead, any bank processing charges will be borne by you and will be deducted from the total before the refund.
